Can please someone tell me how can I repair my computer?

Restore toshiba laptop when i dont have "repair my computer" option in boot menu?

i had many computer problems, got a guy to fix, came back, computers vista just not the same...i want to just restart from factory settings...just like i had it when i bought it. read all the things to do on internet. the steps always start with, repeatadly press F8 and go to boot menu. click "repair my computer" blah blah blah blah, i dont know the rest because i cant even get past the second step. MY BOOT MENU DOESNT HAVE "REPAIR MY COMPUTER" please someone just tell me how to do it....my computer shouldnt have any viruses as it was just wiped, i dont want to install anything new because im going to wipe it again somehow and i am so frustrated with why the option ISNT THERE. it DOESNT make sense. some computer genius please tell me how to RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS. please :(

try pressing f11 not f8 the factory image should still be on ur hard drive

you just WIPED your hard drive??? chances is that you deleted the part which enables you to restore the factory settings. I believe you still got your recovery discs. Restart your computer with the dvd's inside your drive and follow the instructions. if you dont have them, try looking in my computer, maybe there is a partition why says "recovery" or something like that.
