Help with laptop problems, please?

Help!!! Please!! Laptop Problems!?

  • My cousin is 19 and he was at our house alone and he got on my laptop, so i think he went to those ugly perverted websites So then, he got a virus on MY laptop! So, i got on the laptop, then this thing poped up on the backround and it said virus on laptop blah blah. Soo then i turned off the laptop to do something quick and Now when i turn on the laptop, it stands by! u kno I turn on the laptop and i only see the backround of the laptop but no things in desktop, i cant click on anything! believe me anything! and i cant turn it off! plz help me! its not my laptop! its my dads friend's laptop! HELp! im going to be in a panic mood for some days! :( plz help! me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :(

    At this point you can take the laptop to a computer tech. and that is where they will probably clean the hard drive of any viruses...the laptop probably got a trojan horse (an infection that damages files on the computer). Well just take it to a computer tech and they will fix for you.. good luck..

find out what laptop it is and call the technical support for that company. I'm sorry I'm not really sure.

First put a darn password on it "to keep your stupid *** cous off it... Second, If you can't even get to the login on windows, I would stick the restore disk which you probably don't have since it's your dad's friends... Someone is in deep ****... That's why I always lock my system...keep unwanted ppl out of it...do this please in the future...

I guess you do have a Virus and by shutting down and restarting you helped it destroy your operating system. You will need a professional to look at it.

First thing no need to panic. 2nd, turn on you laptop , when you see the desktop, press Ctrl+Alt+Del which should bring the taskbar .Click on file > New Task ( Run ... ) and type in explorer or explorer.exe (try both). This should bring everything in your desktop. 3rd , go to start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore and restore your computer sometime before your cousin accessed your computer. Hope this helps

Press ctrl + alt + delete and go into processes inside your manager. Find "explorer.exe" and double click on it and end the process (If its not there just skip that step) Then go back to the applications tab and click on "New Task" and type in "explorer.exe" be sure that there are NO caps inside that or it wont work. you should see your task bar come up then the desktop icons should come up. If it doesnt work then the virus has infected "explorer.exe" inside windows and you will have to restore to a previous period on the laptop (sorry =[) Hope it solves your problem!!! :D
