Need information about bluetooth?

hello eveyone! Would anyone please let me know what is a bluetooth hardware? Is it the same as Bluetooth dongle? A dongle can be used if the pc has no inbuilt bluetooth support, right? I have an acer laptop with an inbuilt widcomm stack. And i am able to transfer files through bluetooth to any bluetooth enabled devices. What i would like to know is, do i still need a bluetooth hardware? Are the bluetooth enabled devices are otherwise called as bluetooth hardware? Please tell me what exactly is a bluetooth hardware and when it is needed? Thanks in advance!

no, in real, u dont need any bluetooth hardware coz u can send or transfer files (you have inbuilt bluetooth). if u dont have, u will not able to transfer any files.

To keep it short, Bluetooth dongle and bluetooth hardware both refer to the same thing. Except that built in hardware are built inside the device and dongles need to be connected externally. Since you have it built in on your laptop you need not additional hardware.
