Why won't my advent laptop turn on?

  • i have had it just over 11 months and since i got it i have had a couple of problems (now only 1/3 of the USB sockets work and the laptop rarely boots up properly without having a charger plugged in) the screen has come half off at times but my dad fixed it- since then it has been ok, but the screen is very floppy and you have to balance it against something. I'm the only person who uses my laptop but i let my brothers both go on it yesterday cos facebook wan't working for some reason on theirs and i got home from school today and now it will not turn on. i think one of them might have buggared it up...not sure.... If i put my charger in; the light to show the laptop is on charge comes up but as you press the power button, the charger light turns off and the laptop doesn't boot up. anyone else had this problem or know what is wrong with my laptop ? anyone know how to solve it ? thanks.

    Sound looks strange ..remove the battery from your laptop & try to use the laptop using Adapter ..hopefully it will work ....

well it was working before but as soon as they used it it stopped working maybe they went on a dodgy site and downloaded something (websites like free movies are usually viruses, and you are the 1,000,000th visitor those r viruses etc...) they might of gone on one of them but if they just went on fb then ur comp is just buggered.
