How can I connect my laptop to my tv?

I recently just bought a new HP laptop from future shop and I was wondering how to connect it to my TV my laptop doesnt have a S-Cable jack and my TV isn;t high-def

tv doesnt need to be hi def but you need to get a tv tuner that plugs into your laptop go to newegg.com and search in the search box tv tuner there you will see a number of tv tuners but pick one that has a usp jack on it so you can plug it into your laptop but pick one with in your budget. if you want to use your tv as a second screen you cant because you dont have an s video outlet on your laptop
