• Have Problems Starting My HP Laptop help please? When I Try to Start My Laptop, A black screen pops up and says "operating system not found" is there anyway i can get onto my computer again? My notebook model is "HP Pavilion dv6500 notebook PC" And my procceser type is "Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual CPU t2330 please help i really want to get back to getting on my computer again

  This might not work for you unless you have a HP computer or Windows Vista? First you press F8 repeatedly and access the menu and you choose one option that lets you access do a recovery not a system restore but a recovery. First it asked me if I wanted to do a system restore and I said yes and it wouldn't work because it had no system restore point to restore too. So then you select no and click contimue. It will ask you if you want to do a system recovery and you click yes it will ask you if you need to back up files or not I'm not sure if it will work if you click the back up files selection.
