Is it better to have a mac or sony laptop?

Which laptop should i buy? dell, sony, or mac?

  • i have a dell right now. i live sort of in the mountains so like tall and far. and right now, i dont have internet on my dell. my dell has wifi built in and there are usually no signals. i want a laptop that can have internet whereever i go and with a camera. i dont like my dell right now cuz its slow and like i said no internet.. well its probably where i live. and um i dont know much about sony laptops. also for macs, they are like totally different operating system huh? and how do they get internet? wifi too or what? and if i get a mac or sony, will i be able to get internet still or is it just because of my area? are macs good? i want a mac cuz its cool but im concerned about the internet. i dont want to buy those usb drives where i have to pay monthly. i want a mac but its like 1000 dollars and thats too expensive while there are cheaper ones out there with the same features. so which laptop should i get? and for you mac users, ive been a pc user for a long time. and can u tell me why do you like the mac? and like i said.. im concerned about the internet the most so pls. tell me if i can get internet still even though i live in the mountain area. thanks

    I have a MacBook and it works great, no hardware or software failures. They are solid computers and you get what you pay for. I use Wi-Fi as a main source of getting internet, and it has a built in webcam and Microphone. I am under the impression that you think Wi-Fi just comes from nowhere and if your computer is good it will pick it up. You need a wireless router connected to your modem in your house, so it transmits wireless signals to your computers. No computer gets internet everywhere unless it has a connect card which tend to run about 30 dollars a month and use a USB port on your computer.I like Mac because after being frustrated with Windows for about 7 years I picked up Mac in a few minutes, it was so intuitive, I was blown away. I don't have to worry about the threats of viruses, nor do I have to defragment my system, most PC's get slow and you have to defrag often to keep files in check. To check if you get internet up in the mountains you will have to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), or some ISP to see if they provide in your location.

I've heard that Hp is the safest computers now, you can as well ask the company that sells these computers about the internet thing. They should know which has the best in built wireless connection, you could always just buy a usp connection.

if u have been a pc user for a long time i DONT recommend going to a mac! they are a completely different operating system and by comparison to windows more difficult to use(thats my opinion). i would suggest buying a Windows 7 pc from dell or sony. personally i like HP as for the internet issue im afraid i cant help.

If you want to spend the money get the macpro.If not then toshiba sattelite was rated best overall against all the others.

for professional work get dell and dell is cheaper and very good but if you like multimedia and creating get a Mac but its real expensive
