Laptop problems please help?

• Hi there, I have a HP G62 Switcheable graphics, so i would like to know a few things (please answer all of them) by number if possible thanks. First of all i would like you to know that i just reinstalled windows cause i had problems 1.- I recently was going to connect my pc to a projector so i clicked on the control panel connect to a projector i messed up with my computer resolution my native resolution is 1366x720 or something i don't know and i could do 1270xsomething and i cant do that anymore, i can do 1360 which is just -6 which sucks. i cant play any game again in 1270 resolution as i could before 2.- so i told you i have got switchable graphics card, i mean i can use the integrated one (processor) or the ati radeon hd one, okay so i can switch them i mean i cant change them anymore since my pc got windows reinstalled (and it was a friend of a friend who did the repair, he is in another country lol so i cant ask him if you wanted to know, he also wouldnt know) so as i was saying i cant change my graphics and i n eed them when try to play or things like that, i have got a software from intel called intel graphics and media control panel which has an option that says change graphics and guess what, when i click on it it says something about an error like this: windows cant not find p' and numbers and blah clic.exe start powerxpress hybrid. make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again. so what am i supposed to do? thanks 3.-What softwares do you recommend for improving pc performance, specially gaming but all in general. i think thats all i would be very thanked if someone could help me with this big problem :(
