What are RAM's and can someone send me a link to update my aspire one laptop?

RAM is Random Access Memory. Think of your computer as a desk you do your homework on. You have a ton of books (programs) but you don't need to use them all at once. The ones you do need to use, when you open them, you only have so much desk space (RAM) to hold the book. When you're done with that book, you close it and put it back wherever. RAM holds the contents of whatever you're working on (say a Word document) until you save it. RAM is not something that can be downloaded, it's a physical device that you can hold.
