How do I clean my laptop screen?

My laptop screen is dirty and it needs to be cleaned. It has smudges and finger prints on it and its driving me crazy. I decided to google how you clean a laptop screen and I found a video on youtube that said to use a spray bottle with distilled water and Isopropyl alcohol and spray it on a cotton ball and clean the screen in a circular motion with the cotton ball. Then I went on the HP website to see if they had any suggestions on how I should clean my laptop screen and the website said not to use Isopropyl alcohol. So how do I clean my laptop screen? I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook.

Clean it with cotton ball and distilled water, Then with alcohol.

I use microfiber clothes. Like what u use for glasses. You can always go to a electronics store and buy some cleaning clothes from them. Just ask, they should have something for computer screens.

I use optical lens cleaner and a microfibre cloth which gives a 'brand new' look.
