Is it possible to get photos off MSN?

Should I get an Apple Macbook?

  • I currently have a very very old PC laptop and it yells at me a lot. I've decided it's time for me to get a new laptop as I've finally saved enough money. Should I get a PC laptop or a MacBook Pro? Price is not issue. I can afford both. Here is what I use my computer for: -internet: blog, youtube, hotmail, imdb, facebook -edit movies and videos -Microsoft Office: write essays, powerpoint, -edit/photoshop photos -Skype -msn -iTunes

No you'd be shelling out more cash for less performance. A Mac-book is a brand name meaning they like to put big healthy prices on them ( around £900+ ) for minimal performance. whereas if you where to spend that amount on a Sony, Toshiba or even a dell you'd be walking away with a decent machine. people will probably say "aww its higher quality parts" yeh if your over-clocking or gaming so you would hardly notice a difference well you wallet would.

Macs spelled back words is scam. Enough said.

the only thing on that list you cant do in linux is itunes... if thats all you do go mac but if you can live without itunes get a linux machine you can do all that without even insalling it... all that from the cd... download the ubuntu live cd and burn it and pop it in and reboot... it may save you from buying a new one alltogather

Definitely a Macbook. They may be pricier than PCs, but they are great for movie editing, and they don't get viruses. Period.

If price is REALLY not an issue, then go ahead, knowing full well that you can get the same quality of PC for the kinds of things you do with a PC for a fraction of the price. When they say that doing graphic work is better on a Mac, they mean at super high advanced levels of graphical editing; pretty much the majority of the world can use PC's for all of their graphics needs. Buy a PC, download linux at www.ubuntu.com, use the extra money to buy some cool gadgets.

I'd go with the MacBook because Apple has the highest quality product and the best supporting service. MacBooks last much longer than their PC bretheren. Microsoft Office is a Mac product that was ported to windows. It has hundreds more features on the Mac than on the PC, so it's a better version to go with. There will be a new Mac Office later this year and it will be Office 2011 and it will be Mac only. The newest PC Office is only 2010.
