Where is Yahoo reset button?

I nees help with factory reset on my laptop.?

  • I was using yahoo an i clicked a link on the page and my computer crashed. I pressed the power button until it restarted but now it wont startup fully. It stays at "windows is starting" and it wont do anything else.. How do i reset it without using the contol panel?

    We could be a lot more help if we knew the model number and the OS. You can easily find this info in your manual, on Google or on the maker's website.

break out the recovery discs and do a repair from it. should keep everything you have on the computer, and be ok from there. If that doesn't work, you'll need to do a full install, and loose everything. Before either try booting into safe mode(f8 on boot), and see if it loads. if so, do the repair.

It looks like your windows files got curroup and if this happens the only way to fix this is to re-install windows to your laptop. You didn't tell us what model laptop you have because HP, Dell, Lenovo they are all re-set in a deferent way. But at windows start up right before you see the windows screen click on F10 for HP F12 for Dell. also try F2 F8 and it will take you to the BIOS re-start. Now be very careful with this windows because if you make the wrong changes your computer will have more problems. Go on the internet and search for re-set for the model of your laptop
