Sony Vaio VGN problem.

Sony VAIO Notebook VGN-TT90US disc eject error?

  • I have Sony VAIO notebook VGN-TT90US series from Japan domestics. I have one problem is disc drive eject error.I upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate (Japanese Version) to Windows 7 Ultimate (English Version) with clean install. My disc drive won't working by pressing the eject button. It is just only working choose the Eject from My Computer > Disc Drive on Right Click > Eject. I don't have any recovery disc. So If you have any idea could you please help and share me which way is the best for this error. Thanks

  • Answer:

Sounds like a faulty eject switch, I wouldn't worry about it to much if you can still eject from you OS. Or spend a lot to have some people rip you off at a repair shop.

Go to the Sony web site for the correct driver files and BIOS to run it in the way you want

the registry of your operating system needs to clean, This type of problem occurs when registry is overloaded with irrelevant information and corrupted files so it is necessary to clean and fix the errors, this can be done manually but depends if you have some know how to sort out the corrupted files, or use PC optimizer registry repairer software like Reginout
