Why wont my HP laptop turn on?

  • It will turn on and stay on, but the screen wont turn on. OR, it will turn on and turn off. Idk whats wrong i didnt drop it as far as i know. It did it a lil while ago but i got it to come on somehow. I forget how though. Has anyone ese had this problem? How do i fix this? Thanks for any help you can give me!

    the battery may be dead or if its not u could take it some where they could ceck it.

Duh its broken you have to buy a new one

Remove the ram chips, clean the terminals and reinstall

It most likely crashed get it checked out.

It could be a bad connection. Fastest way to check this is to connect it to an external monitor. If it works fine then the connection going through the hinge could be bad.

That happened to my laptop too it tuurned out that the battery was dead and it wouldnt charge at all

take the battery out, turn it on and turn it off, then put the battery back and turn it on, if it still the same, you have a problem :)
