Whats better a Mac or a PC?
-
So I have been thinking about getting a new computer. I have always wanted a laptop but I wanna get a good laptop. I know Macs are really good. They give me one at school and I love it. But the thing is that you cant get on facebook or anything. I have a regular PC and I sorta like it but it runs so slow i've had it about 5 years now. Im looking for a new computer but im not sure if I should sell my computer and get a macbook. Or keep my computer and buy any laptop that ranges from 200-500. What do you think I should get? Also if i get rid of my computer ill have more room in my room. Will it be the same as having a PC? thanks alot

Answer:
The macbook Pro is definitely the one you are looking for. You get: - 500Gb of hdd - Lower price tag - Faster performance due to the 2.4Ghz - Mac OS X v10.7 Lion - Approx 410 minutes Battery Life The only problem would be the weight that is 4.5 lbs while the macbook pro wrighs only 2.9 lbs. From my bookmarks here you would be able to find a good review from an owner of both note books which should help you out on this decision: http://budurl.com/ProOrAir And from my bookmarks now the macbook pro is available for a price under 1150: http://budurl.com/NewestMBP But you can prefer the macbook air if you are more of a person who likes to move around a lot as you get the lower weight. From my research here you would be able to find the macbook air at a discounted rate: http://budurl.com/NewestMBA

There are always pros and cons in between: 1. Hardware: This really depends on what size of laptop you're going to get. As long as the processor is fast, the memory is sufficient and the hard drive is big enough. For the price-wise, PC is always much more affordable than Mac, yet there are things (specs) to be considered. 2. Software/OS: Mac: Current OS: Lion OS X 10.7 (Mountain Lion will be release in Summer) Stable environment, rare issue, PC software compatible (e.g.: MS-Office, MSN... etc.). PC: Current OS: Windows 7 (Windows 8 is now under preview version) Additional antivirus is needed. program unexpectedly halted from time to time. You'll never know what's gonna be. LOL! As for Facebook, it has no different whether you use a PC or Mac, it's all the same either in IE or Safari. You don't really need to get rid of your current PC. It's still good for alternative uses. But, if there's nothing much for the current one, you probably won't get anything for a 5-year PC if you want to sell it. There's no value in the market. Garage sale maybe. :P
