Should i buy an Apple Mackbook Air or HP laptop?

Personally, I would get a Mac. I've used both Mac and PC computers for a long time, and have had only 1 problem in the past 6 years with my own Mac where I had to have it serviced in the past 6 years. PCs are far more vulnerable to viruses, worms, etc etc. If you can, get one with a "chiclet" keyboard as it tends to have fewer problems than the other kind (ask the sales person about this) - this comes from the salesman I talked to when considering getting a Macbook Pro vs a Macbook Air. BTW, the MacBook Pro is now out of production. The only problem which I haven't figure out just yet myself. There are downloads which are for PCs only and can't be opened on a Mac. I'm sure there is a solution to this, tho - I just haven't found it yet, tho I haven't really been trying hard to find said converter. Other than that, a Mac is a good buy all around.

As a college student, I would recommend the Macbook Pro 13". The Air is more than capable of being a primary machine because of it's superb performance and overall very good screen. For everyday tasks, it should be snappy and a pleasure to use. However, students will get a $100 discount on the Pro while the Air only provides a $50 discount. This means that there is a price difference of $150 (for students).

The HP will be a better computer by far. The Mac air uses old and slow parts to keep it thin. In reality, you will get more use out of a hp

go for mac book i only suggest if u use mac book pro instead of air
