How do you get out of safe mode?

  • my laptop is working fine and doesn't have any virus'.but for some reason its in safe mode. i didn't do anything wrong, it died and i turned it back on and it was in safe mode. but its dell notebook. can anyone tell me how to get out of safe mode?

    When your computer start up, right from when you press the button just continually press F1. (F1 brings up a help menu) On the menu just choose "Start Windows Normally" Now your computer should start up as it should. If your computer keeps on starting in safe mode then you need to find out what the button on your computer is to bring up the help menu (on startup) The menu should come up before the computer gets to start in safe mode. Close all programs, click start, click log off, click turn off. Restart/power on, log in and if every thing is OK it should boot in normal mode.

Try this Power down computer Turn back on As soon as you turn it on Just keep clicking F8 until you see this black screen with white letters at the bottom you will see "Start windows normally" if that does not work do the same thing with F8 But instead of pressing "Start windows normally" Click "last working configuration"

if you still can't get out of safe mode, click start ->run -> msconfig then click the start up tab. see if /safeboot is check marked. make sure this is NOT checked
