I need help with connecting laptop to TV.

Need help connecting laptop to tv so i can watch a movie on the television?

    Use whatever is available to you. I refuse to run through every single option, since you refuse to tell us what output interfaces your video card has or what input interfaces your television has. But, for example, if you have VGA-out and VGA-in, use that.

I have a DELL Latutude D600 with a S-video OUTPUT.. I think it only works with Microsoft Office..or Tablet PC.. === I just added a SlotCARD w/IEEE1394 Firewire.. ..so I may be able to use a External Capture Card--that has all the Media Inputs/Outputs.. === Vista and Media Center will allow this useing a TV-Tuner Card.. === I would suggest a Desktop for that operation.
