When I hook a vga cable up to my HP dv6915nr laptop to use w/ a projector, the picture cuts in and out. Help?
-
When I say it cuts in and out, I can get the picture up on the projector screen (in a clone fashion, like I want) but every minute or two for no reason that I've found the video card acts like the cable is no longer hooked up, so the screen goes black and the projector loses the signal. From time to time, it will automatically find itself again. It's very frustrating because I'm trying to use it for presentations. It's a nvidia 7500 video card, with windows vista(maybe that's the problem!) It's a new laptop with plenty of RAM and video memory as well. Any thoughts?
