How to fix my wobbly laptop screen?

Laptop Screen is Blank. How do I fix it?

  • I was using my laptop yesterday. It's a Toshiba A105 and I stepped away from it for a couple of hours. When I came back the screen was blank. I thought nothing of it because it happens all the time. I tried moving the mouse and nothing happened, so I turned off the laptop and started it again. It turned on okay, but the screen wouldn't come on at all. I noticed that the first 3 lights on the bottom of my laptop work just fine but the fourth one doesn't. I'm not sure what that symbol stands for. Anyway I'm wondering if there is anything that I can do that would possibly fix the problem, because I would rather not take it in if it is something I can fix on my own. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

    if you have a monitor laying around you can plug that in to see if anything comes up

1 check the brightness setting ,contrast... from your keyboard,or screen . 2 it could be a virus . try to reinstal the os by rebooting the machine and pressing the f12 slide your xp ,or vista into it ,and start to instal a fresh copy of os. g luck.
