Why my laptop shut down unexpectedly in 5 minutes after i turn it on?

I have a SONY VAIO, VGN-CS 110E model laptop. after i turn it on, i cant hear the fans running, so after 5 minutes the computer shutdown unexpectedly because of over heating, so i again turn it on and again it shut downs in 3 or 4 seconds this time. i keep turning it on and the laptop keep shutting down, at last after 20 or more times of restarting my laptop, the fans start working, and my pc also starts normally, even after working for hours it don't shut down again. also if i turn it off and again turn it on in next few hours, i don't face this problem. ( i guess the problem is with fan).

computer are smart enough to shut down automatically to avoid more damage due to overheating.. even if it already works fine, i suggest you still have the fans checked.. It could be dirty or simply not connected properly..

IT is most likely that it has dust blocking the airway. the fan works but the air wont pass through.

Yeah definitely sounds like a problem with the fan causing overheating... You pretty much answered your own question. You can always go get it fixed. Should be quite easily fixable.

it is playing peek-a-boo lol you take it to be serviced? that would be the most obvious and fastest way to get things doneust kidding---like why don't

ring where you got it from or if you got it off ebay or something ring the company for eg: SONY and theey will replace the part PROBABLY
