I need to reinstall windows, does anybody know where i can find the download to put it onto a usb?

my net book has been down for a few weeks now, my net book has a virus and wont go past the startup page it just goes blank, so i've decided to reinstall windows, i just need to find a link to find the download so i can put the software onto a usb and put it on my net book! anybody know where i can find a download, i've scanned through the hp website but cant find the windows xp download? sorry for such a long explanation thank you! :D
