I have a problem installing windows xp on my sony vaio vgn-fj270b?

i did a repair install using the windows xp cd and well ive used the disk b4 on my other computer and it worked fine but when i tried on this one i got stuck it said one of the software i was trying to install for my hardware doesnt say which but then tells me it doesnt have windows logo compaitly something like that and that it asks me if i want to continue installing windows xp or do i want to quit and i tried both and the same thing happens i get the same message again nothing new happens just the same message again .im using ubuntu on the sony vaio becuase i cant use my windows so im stuck for now
