Why won't my Acer start up?

Why wont my acer 5250-bz479 start in the cold?

• Every time I try to start my laptop in the cold it wont start. Ive tryed pluging it in to a power source and the charge light dosent even come on. I have to heat up the back, front lid and inside of it for it to turn on. I bought anew battery thinking that was the problem but it wasent if you have had any problems or can help me you would save me from buying a new laptop.

  If it starts in the warm then its a simple case of: 1) you use it on your lap so often that it caused plastic to melt making it unstable in conditions other than hot environments 2) its **** Laptops arnt for laps, the name is a massive misconception. The fact it even gets hotter than 40C sometimes is a massive worry. People put their laptops through so much strain and they say "OH ITS OKAY ITS USED TO IT" yes its used to it, but also its ****** up and you have decreased its life sevenfold
