I need help with my labtop's webcam?!?

I have a HP Pavilion g7 labtop and my webcam rarely works. When i open "Cybelink YouCam," it says that my webcam isnt detected. Sometimes it works, and i dont change the settings, it just does, but most of the time "theres no webcam found". I am in NO way a tech person, so maybe my webcam is just turned off..? is there a setting i can go to to change it back? Please and thank you!

Answer:
your LAPTOP drivers for the web cam need to be re-installed, it appears to have gotten corrupted probably with a update or an installation/remove of a program. i would also try re installing the web cam software. this should fix the issue
