Why is my laptop so hot?

Why dose the laptop get hot? URGENT URGENT!!?

  • I have an acer laptop with 2 GB ram. When ever I play a game the laptop becomes hot and there is a struck and move of game. Like the game will get struck for 2 seconds and then work for 2 seconds this goes on till 2-3 mins. After that there is an abnormal shutdown of my Laptop. I just want my laptop to be normal. Can any one help me?

    Sounds like it is overheating. Buy a compressed air can and blow out any dust through the vents. Check for any updates on programs you are using. You might also want to consider a ram upgrade.

Ensure there is a good flow of air to your fan, if your blocking the exit for the heat, its just circulating through your computer. Check your power settings, try "Eco" or the Power Saver option on your computer (the PC is slowed slightly but reduces energy usage, thus less heat). Turn off unnecessary programs running in the background, if you want to use your PC for just gaming, try a program called "GameBooster", it will do everything for you. Lastly, try a laptop stand with a built in fan, it provide a better circulation of air while adding an Additional air flow.

Because Acer has inferior quality parts and the fan is overheated.

Brush out or gently poke out the air vent for the cooling fan (on the base of the PC) Check that the fan is working.

It might be over heating, the fan might be broken or something Try cooling it down or checking the fan if possible :)

It's because you laptom dosnt have the requirments to play the game smotthly so its working really hard to play it so it gets really hot. tip:stop playing the game.

My old laptop did that, its because the air vents are blocked/trapped or you are in a hot place.
