Can I use a DVR with DirecTV?

Are there any all in one touch screen computers that you can use to hook up your Directv DVR for TV?

• Does anyone know of any ALL in ONE Desktop Computers that are over 20 inch screen that can hook up to a DIRECTV DVR so I can use as a tv and PC easily. (without having to hook things up or unhook every time? Guy at Best Buy said they dont have proper inputs or outputs? I dont remember. But he said I would have to buy a "slingbox" for about $150 then I could. I would rather find one that can do this?? Know any? (prefer touch screen but doesnt have to be just really like the all in one desktop idea, DONT want a laptop. My kids will end up moving it no matter what I tell them...) OR what "specification" would I be looking for that would tell me that it would work with Directv Receiver. This would not be near a phone line. Also is touch screen OS different than standard or is it just the same with some added features? This computer will need to last me for at least 3 years and will be used in part on occassion by kids. Are they more or less kid friendly? Any brands to stay away from? Please dont use techie speak...I am housewife who is slightly more knowledgeable about technology than your average housewife. :) But I dont know what a "dongle" is...(which was another answer before) I need the answer as if you were talking to someone who doesnt have a clue what Im doing.   I know that some of them have an actual TV Tuner that you can hook your services into and then the computer itself acts as the DVR.
