If you erase the info on a hard drive, it also erases browser history and stored passwords right?
-
I recently sold my Macbook Pro to a friend and before doing so, I used the Mac OS installer disk to erase the hard drive and restore factory settings, etc. I did the "Re-Write with Zeros" option and am assuming that it erased everything from the hard drive including my browser history, bookmarks & stored passwords. Since I would have had to go through the entire set-up process with the OS, I did not get a chance to check and see if all of those things were in fact gone.
