Windows explorer stopped working in vista?

I can't download files using Windows Vista, I get a message internet explorer has stopped working.?

  • I is agrevating. Everytime I go to download updates and sometimes even emails it does this. I have done a system restore and that did not work. What do I do? Please help!!!!

Sounds like maybe IE is corrupt.Scan online at microsoft to see if any help,or try to download a download helper from microsoft to download IE again,and go on from there.

There's something wrong with Internet Explorer. I suggest getting a different browser, like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

You updated IE? theres a new one for vista IE8... if its that then report it if u can then download firefox or google chrome they both are really useful browsers
