Why didn't "system information" recognize the new Dell video drivers I just installed?
-
I downloaded and installed the latest video drivers available for me from the dell drivers website. I ran the setup and restarted. When I go into "system information", the computer still says that the old drivers are still installed...why? Thanks!

Answer:
depending on your video card thats integrated you do not have to use the drivers from dell. Nvidia drivers can be downloaded from www.nvidia.com and AMD/ATI can be downloaded @ www.amd.com For generic integrated graphics you must get them from dell.com
