What is a Windows 8 'Child Session?

Why won't my session manager for Windows XP start up?

  • I was updating Windows XP service pack 3 but it was somehow interrupted. The computer did not respond so I shut down the computer and restarted it. Upon restart, there was text saying "autochk failed to install" and then my screen turned blue and said "session manager failed to load" or something along those lines. If anybody can help me figure out how to fix this problem (or at least how to get to SystemRestore), that would be great

  • Answer:

1, right-"My Computer" and choose "Properties" to find the "automatic updates" tab, select the "turn off the automatic update." Click "OK" button. There is also a method of order, CMD, enter the "net stop wuauserv". 2, "began - running," enter "CMD", open CMD interface. 3, enter "regsvr32% windir% \ system32 \ wups2.dll", returns. Note: If your system is Windows XP 64-bit, then the order should be: "Regsvr32% windir% \ syswow64 \ wups2.dll" Dialog box, select "OK." 4, in accordance with the first step, select the "automatic update", or CMD interface, enter "net start wuauserv". it maybe able to help you solve problems http://www.Easy-Registry-Clean.info
