  • Answer:

Ghost is a program designed for imaging your computer - making a direct copy of the contents of your hard drive to another hard drive or to a series of discs (as an image). Ghost has a GUI (graphical user interface) so it is straightforweard. You simply select the drive you want to copy, select the destination drive and let Ghost do the rest. Ghost is not designed to format drives - you cannot do this using Ghost itself. You have to do this either from the command line (format DRIVE LETTER) or you use an OS installation disc to format the drive. As a guide, copying the contents of a drive can take minutes or hours depending on how full the drive is, how large the drive is, how many discs are required to create the system image, etc etc.

is that the keylogger?

if you are unsure of all the little pieces of the Ghost program it is release by Norton going to Norton and (assuming you actually own the program) find their tech support number. The one to one imaging is fairly basic but requires a created boot disk which with Vista can be tricky (you have to check the box that says it is to be a boot disk.) The user interface is very basic and easy to navigate. You should be able to muddle through it without a problem.

Google it. Ghost is a well know imaging program.
