How do I burn my iMovie project onto a disc?

My burned DVD disc off my iMac, and it won't play on any DVD player?

  • I have a project (on a commercial thing) due tomorrow, and I have an iMac. I used the iMovie '09 for my project, and I think I burned it into the DVD disc. I'll try to give all the information: What I did: -I went to Share in the options, and I went to "Export Movie..." -Then a small window popped up, and it asked where I wanted the project exported, I put it in the blank DVD disc (Here's a picture, but it might be hard to see: http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu13/TemporaryxBleeding/Photo28.jpg http://images.smarter.com/300x300x15/2/53/1168353.jpg ) -And I went onto the blank CD's folder, and clicked on the button that said: Burn -I clicked on it, and my project should of been exported into the disc But when I played it in my DVD player and my friend's DVD player, nothing happened. The disc is white, and it says: JVC 120 min. / 4.7 GB DVD-R mn / Go and that DVD logo under it, with tiny writing: R4.7 16X/1X (i think, its to small to read) My friend who's helping me has a step-dad, that should know how to burn a DVD/CD. So I gave my friend the CD's that should have the project on it, and he downloaded the iMovie project into a flash drive. Now he has it, and he and his step-dad are trying to fix it. But please tell me what I'm doing wrong, or what's wrong with anything? And please try and tell me how to burn the CD on iMovie '09 onto a blank CD/DVD? -Please and thanks, I really need it due tomorrow :)

When you write the DVD's you have to specify whether there going to be file or video format, rewrite the disk, and this time write it as a video, not a file. Need help? [email protected]
