What can I use an old computer for?

What parts from my old computer can i use on my new one?

  • hi all thanks for looking, i have just got hold of a newer computer but to me my old one was capable of doing most things other than running powerfull games like call of duty modern warfare and stuff like that, but it worked great with normal games like halo and call of duty 2 i was wondering if there are any parts that i could take out of my old one and put them into my new one to make this one any better? thanks alot sarah.

Hi, u can use ur harddisk, cd-rom drive, fdd, and lan card, u cant use ur RAm, if ur new one is DDR2 support and old one DDr1 support.

CD\DVD drives HDD floppy disk drive you might be able to use the memory depending on what kind it is Any add-on cards that the new does not have in it or built in. power supply if it has a higher wattage than the one in the new system And I think that's it.
