How to resolve a video card and wireless card issue?

  • I am running an Inspiron 530 desktop on Windows Vista and I recently installed an AMD Radeon 4350 video card. Whenever I run the dual display from my video card to my monitor (VGA connection) and to my TV (HDMI), my wireless card basically shuts off and cannot connect to the internet. I called AMD and they said it was not a known video card or driver issue. I also read on a forum that my power supply possibly isn't enough for both the video card and wireless card. I was also cautioned against continuing to use my video card as it requires 350 watts and my power supply is only 300 watts as it could lead to my power supply burning out or more severe damage. So what should I try next? As long as my HDMI isn't plugged in, there aren't any issues. But I would like to have my cake and eat it too, so what can I do to try and fix it?

  • Answer:
