Acer monitor problem.

Acer LCD monitor problem?

  • Custom building a computer. I have an asrock p67 gen 3 extreme4 motherboard and a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161381 graphics card. Corsair ddr3 8 gb ram, when i turn on the computer, all the fans are working... everything. OKAY LET ME GETT THIS STRAIGHT I CANT CHANGE THE BIOS BECAUSE THERE IS NO SIGNAL. Jesus. and i know my monitor is set to DVI. I plug in my dvi cable to my graphics card, power on the computer, power on the monitor, and it blinks ( no signal ) a few times then it goes black. Ive got everything installed i dont know whats going on -.-. is my motherboard not compatible with acer orr my graphics card or whatt? I plugged in the monitor to my laptop and it works fine... but when i turn on my computer all the fans are working so i know its not broken.... Help me please.

    Did you check your RAM chips? I upgraded my graphics card one day and found that there was an incompatibility problem with my higher ram chip vs. my new card. Don't ask me why, I just had to lower the ram and everything works out. Your problem may not be the same but just thought I'd relate.
