How do I restore my computer (vista)?

My computer is over run with viruses and such that make my computer really slow and it crashes a lot. I tried to do system restore but it asks for a restore point. I don't want to restore it up to a point, I want to restore it completely, like it was when it came out of the factory. I tried to do a virus scan while in safe mode but that didn't help. And I did a system restore while in safe mode and that didn't work. I have all my files backed up and I am ready to wipe my memory and everything that is on my computer. I have the installation disks and everything ready. I just need someone to tell me how to get my computer to the way it was when I first got it.

all programs >recovery manager>recovery manager >advanced options>system recovery depending on your brand of computer or press F11 at start up if HP F8 if dell

That happened to me 2! My brother restored the entire hard drive by doing the following: First, he got a brand new 1gb? memory card. Next he took out the original memory card and replaced it with the new one. after that our computer was like it was brand new when we got it (ie we had to setup the computer again).Hope this helps. Oh yeah btw make sure all your files are backed up before removing the old memory card!
