How can I disable caching and shadowing?

I am in real Trouble. help me with this?

  • Thanks for coming! I am good at computers and helped many users in both yahoo answers and my own site. I am in real Trouble. I work in a computer center at Kerala. My boss has been pregnant and she wouldn’t come. I was to manage to center until she come. One of the student has done something and such a error message is displayed at booting in a black screen: We apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent software hardware or software change might have caused this. If your computer as stopped responding unexpectedly, or was shut down automatically to protect your files and folders, choose the last known configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked. If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the power or reset button was pressed, or if you aren’t sure what has caused the problem, choose Start Windows Normally. Safe Mode. Safe Mode with Networking. Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Last Known Good Configurations (Your Most Recent Settings That Worked). Start Windows Normally. Use the Up and Down arrow key to move the highlight to your choice. I have tried all the things stated there, i.e. Safe Mode. Safe Mode with Networking. Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Last Known Good Configurations (Your Most Recent Settings That Worked). Start Windows Normally. What ever I clicked leaves me to the booting up. Then it shows a error message like this in a blue Screen: A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME If this is the first time you have seen this screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, Follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software or is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows update you might need. If the problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or Disable Components, Restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options and then Select Safe mode. Technical information: *** STOP: 0X000000ED (0X80A6BE30, 0XC0000032, 0X00000000, 0X00000000) I run a widows XP Professional SP2. I have tried all the things stated there, i.e. “Check to make sure any new hardware or software or is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows update you might need.” I have not installed any “new hardware or software”. It was not a “new installation” and I don’t have internet on that system to update. Moreover, I cannot bypass these two error messages to make any actions like system restore etc. “Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing” please tell me how if you know. “If you need to use safe mode to remove or Disable Components, Restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options and then Select Safe mode.” I know that but it guides to the error message on the blue screen again. Any solutions/suggestions/ideas will be appreciated.
