How do I get my computer out of safe mode?

How do i get my computer out of safe mode?

  • Hp laptop. pavillion, vista. All icons are big and all screens are wide no matter what I am viewing. Tried restart and restore....been told computer is in safe mode. Any ideas how to make it back to normal? Not just adjusting resolution for icons, but how to fix it? Thanks.

    when your computer is starting up press the F8 key, repeatedly. then choose normal mode. if you computer gets past that, then right-click "my computer" click on properties, then "start up" something tab. (I'm doing this from memory. ) and click start up options button. then there is a list of modes you can start up in and choose the normal mode so it will start up like that again, if you didn't understand my instructions, try googling "start XP in normal mode" and read some forums.
