  according to the benchmarks the AMD FX 4100.. is better out of the two.. but I have read some of the outgoing phenoms 2 out do the FX cpus in some application and games... so beware. If I had the budget I would look at the i5 2310 or 2500k over the new bulldozer cpus, Don't get me wrong I am not an Intel fan boy as I have used the AMD phenom 2 955 for the past 2 years and its been excellent for me and still going strong... Just today Intel i5 2310 or 2500k would be my choice for my next CPU
