How to turn off boot splash screen?

Computer won't boot(Stuck on splash screen)?

  • Hello people, i'm having problem booting my computer. It's stuck on the Intel Splash screen. It booted fine when i disconnected my second SATA hard drive. Could it be that the Power Supply is not able to deliver enough power?

  • Answer:

Sounds like your boot order got screwed up somehow. As the computer is booting, hit del or f1 or f2 (watch for prompt) to enter BIOS setup menus. In there, check your boot order. For most motherboards, there should be two boot order menus. On the first one, you specify priority of devices to boot: 1) CD Rom 2) Hard drive 3) Whatever On the second one, you specify which hard drive to boot: 1) SATA2 2 IDE Hard drive Primary channel 1 3) Whatever If your hard drive with OS is not in the boot sequence, or it is after another hard drive...your computer will not find your operating system. If this is the problem (bad boot sequence) that means that you added a hard drive or other boot device recently... Or it means that your CMOS battery died. Which would mean that after you change the boot sequence, you will need to change it again....
