Answer:
Hi according to the Dell website your computer can support up to 4GB of RAM. If your not too afraid of fiddling with your computer then its quite easy to install the RAM yourself. The best place I think to buy the RAM would be www.overclockers.co.uk their quite cheap around £60 www.crucial.com is also a good place and has a guide as to how to replace the RAM hope that helps...

You can put in up to 4 Gigs of DDR2 RAM. If you only have XP32 go for 3 Gigs. If you have XP64 go for the full 4. I'm quite sure that machine would be XP32. Make sure you but the right modules or your computer won't boot! For my mom's computer with pretty well the same specs I bought her DDR2 DDR2 PC6300 RAM I think and as I said before, 3 GBs is what you need. It can take up to 4 but only 2.75 will register. Good luck!

i have same pc. they can support up to 4GB of DDR2 memory. http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=dimension%205150&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf also make sure you add 3 512 mb sticks. OR throw away your current memory and add 4 1GB sticks. Also if you get 4GB memory, youll have to reinstall windows to 64 bit version.

go to crucial.com and scan your computer and they will tell you how much you can upgrade to and what memory you should buy.

You should go crucial.com then use their scanner. Or just go cpuid.com then download cpu-z. It will show you all information of your mainboard and ram
