Need help buying a gaming PC?

I really need help either buying a good gaming pc or good parts to build one. PLEASE HELP?

  • I am really new to computer gaming as I have only used consoles in the past and never really had to pick out the best one or best parts. I really want to be able to play Crysis and Flight Simulator X on relatively high settings as smoothly and as fast as possible. I would also like to keep it as cheap as possible, but still be a good computer. Any help?

    building your own would definitely be cheaper. but to play Crysis on high make sure you Get top-of-the-line Processor and Video Card

Well it depends if your willing to buy a Alienware computer which is usually i think 1~3k but if u want to spend less then 1-2k then i recommend on buying a crappy desktop that comes with a monitor if u need one which is usually $400-600 then buy a Ati radeon or a Nvidia graphics card and searching a online guide how to install it and buy some Gigs of ram so that it wont lag up. But thats just two ways.

best thing is to build your own, you save massive money and you get your custom computer, lookin lower end gaming one is around 800. including everything you need from case to power supply to HD. dont go cheap on the CPU or GPU those are the ones that make the games.

I do not necessarily agree with the other comments. I just finished building a video editing workstation, man what a pain. If you've never built your own PC, be prepared to invest both time and money. None of us will show up at your house to assist you with the inevitable problems you will encounter. So I'd research what you'll need and how much it'll cost. You'll also need to purchase the operating system. That said, the reward in creating your own "Frankenstein" can be a huge source of pride and gaming goodness...until the next round makes your machine obsolete. Good luck!
