How to install GitHub setup?

Can't install vista on RAID 0 hdd setup?

  • hello people I bought new pc parts yesterday, and i'm now putting a pc together. I built the system entirely and i didn't forget any part (at least i think so) Motherboard: Asus p6t Deluxe (X58 chipset) I got 4x WD green 640 sata2 hard disks and i want to use them in a RAID 0 setup. I configured in the BIOS i want to use a RAID setup. Now while booting i have to press CTRK+I to get in the "Intel matrix storage manager" to configure the hard disks. I configured it to make the 4 hard disks available to use in RAID 0. Now it shows my harddisk is contains 2384,6 GB of free space, the status is "normal" but it says it is NOT bootable. i thought; "aw c'mon, it'll be okay" so i went installing vista. after loading vista setup i selected the raid driver and vista showed the harddisk containing 2384 GB properly. then i press "next" and windows says the disk is not valid to install windows on. another window says i have to configure in the bios that the disk has to be bootale. how can i solve this problem?

  • Answer:

Remember always that when you have a new Hard Drive, it is not Formated. You have to make a process in order to format it and make it bootable. I don't know the process in this very moment and I don't have much time since I'm doing this while on class, but you can always Google it.
