How can I hook up two monitors to my PC?

Can I hook up two tvs/monitors to my desktops' one HDMI? Stream vid on one & surf web on the other?

  • Can I hook up two tvs/monitors to my desktops' one HDMI? Stream vid on one & surf web on the other? Talk to me like a 4yr old 'cause I'm no IT wiz, nor am I made of money. My pc is new and plenty capable of handling what ever I throw at it and so is my isp connection. Plenty of speed and wifi ready. No wifi adapters for either tv, uless I have to. I've looked at HDMI switchers and considered doing something by switching "Users" Seems like a combo of things like that should get it done, I just don't know which. #2......I'm doing this because I can't figure out how to get the vga port on the pc to work to save my life. Any ideas about that would be great as well. The vga port did have a black "do not remove" rubber plug in it straight out of the box. And obviously hdmi is preferred anyway. Seems like that could be fixed from the control panel under the "manage/configure displays". I can't make that happen either. Very frustrating. I feel like I'm 1 or 2 clicks away but all it would be now is poke and hope. If I do get lucky and make it all work..................I'll have no idea what I did to make things work! One last thing while I've got your attention. How can I check if my pc is bluetooth ready? If their is anything that you use to make internet tv a great experience, I'd love to hear bout it. Thx everyone. [email protected] if you want to reach me that way............................john

  • Answer:

no because you would just have the same picture on both screens. one hdmi port can only output one image, you would need another port on your pc to add a second monitor with a different image. also if your pc is not bluetooth ready go on amazon, a usb bluetooth adapter can be as little as £3

Other answers

you'll need another graphics card or a usb to hdmi adaptor, search them on amazon. You can check if your computer is bluetooth ready by looking at that model online and looking through the stats, otherwise you can buy a bluetooth adaptor from amazon.

youn need towo differnet outputs to be able to have 2 different monitors, I think, I don'tr see how it would work with just one.
