How do I remove MyWebSearch?

Why can't i remove mywebsearch on my computer??

• i have tried add/remove program, spybot, superanti spyware, hijackthis, malwarebytes etc. everything i can think of. can anyone help??????????????

  Did you recently install Bearshare or any other program that may have bundled that mywebsearch? Can you also tell us what browsers you are using? EDIT: A. Run the free Revo Uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html Using Revo Uninstaller, uninstall the Wincore Mediabar and the MyWebSearch if you see them listed. Do it in advanced mode. If you are asked to reboot, do so. B. Restore all browsers' search engine, homepage and other preferences. Firefox: 1. Click on Tools > Add-ons and remove the Wincore Mediabar, MyWebSearch and DataMngr add-ons if they are there. Restart the browser. 2. On Firefox's search box, click on the pull down arrow and select Manage Search Engines. Select the unwanted "Search Results" and remove it. 3. Change the homepage if it is still using a different one. 4. On the URL box, type "about:config" (w/o the quotes). Promise to be careful. In the filter box, type "search" (w/o the quotes). 5. Right click on each of the following if they exist and select Reset: browser.search.defaultenginename browser.search.order.1 browser.search.selectedEngine keyword.URL Fix your Internet Explorer also: 1. Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools > Manage Add-ons. 2. Select Toolbars and Extensions. Uninstall everything related to iMesh Inc. from the list: MediaBar, UrlHelper Class, MyWebSearch, etc. 3. Select Search Providers. First of all, choose Bing search engine and make it your default search provider. Then select Web Search and click Remove button to uninstall it (lower right corner of the window). 4. Go to Tools > Internet Options. Select General tab and click Use default button or enter your own website, e.g. google.com instead of search.imesh.com. Click OK to save the changes. And that's it.
