My Desktop Computer won't turn on?

Please help.. my desktop computer wont turn on?

  • i have a desktop computer and i have had it for about 2 years and i dont remember the name of it.. and it wont turn on and i dont know much about computers and (i would have sent it back but i have no warranty) when i opend it i found out that the mother board said asus p4v8x-mx and when i plug it in there is a green light that lights up but when i press the on button the fan on the inside starts to spin for maybe a millisecond and thats it so please help i dont know whats the matter with it and i only have like 20 bucks so i cant spend much on it. please help thanks in advance (please give ways to fix) :( :)

    Make sure that your monitor is plugged in correctly to your computer and to your power outlet. There should be some instructions in the paperwork that came with the computer. Good luck

Unplug it and leave it off for a few hours, then see if it will turn back on. While you are waiting, check the insides and if there is a lot of dust, blow it out with a can of compressed air.
