How safe is Philadelphia's "Electric Factory?

Will i still be able to use my factory settings disk to take my co back to factory settings if i was to ugrad?

I want to update my computer from xp to vista, but with my computer i got a factory settings disk with the computer that starts it back as if it was new. What my question really is: will i still be able to use my factory settings disk to take it back to factory settings if i was to ugrade to vista ?
Answer:

Yes, it will restore it to XP like it was new. But why install VISTA? its a DOWNGRADE , not an upgrade, vista sux big time, wait another 2 weeks for the new WINDOWS7.

You can use your System Restore disk at any time, but it will always put back your original Windows - the one your computer came with. If your computer came with XP, you will get XP back on your computer
