Answer:
It sounds like you have activated the Mighty Mouse's zoom function. If so, hold down the control key while you use the mouse's middle button or scroll wheel and you should be able to zoom out again. There's a setting in the Keyboard and Mouse control panel to turn this off and one, and to change the key which has to be pressed at the same time for it to happen. The Control key is the default, but it might be set to the Option key or the Command key, so you could try either of those if using the Control key doesn't work. If this zoomed in behaviour survives a restart, you may have Universal Access enhanced "Seeing" function enabled. Go to the Universal Access control panel and turn it off. Additional: I note that you say in your email that this zoomed in behaviour survives a restart. I don't think that even Universal Access turned on would do that, so I'm not sure what is going on. Does this happen only within your web browser or does it happen in every application, including the Finder? Universal Access will affect application; it will also cause the display to move around as you move the mouse, because you are basically looking at the display through a magnifying glass and can see only part of it at a time. You can find it under "System Preferences...", in the "System" section towards the bottom, and one of the options is Zoom On/Off. If it affects only your web browser, and it survives a restart, then it sounds like a setting in your browser. That depends on which browser you are using. In Safari, under "Preferences..." on the Safari menu, there is an Appearance tab, I can set the default font size, which changes the size of the text in Safari windows, but doesn't change the size of other screen elements such as the system menu at the top of the page, the width of the scroll bars, the size of the mouse pointer, or any embedded images. In contrast, these are things that would be changed by the Universal Access zoom function. Other than that, I don't really know. You might need to get someone knowledgeable to actually look at your machine, rather than trying to diagnose remotely.
