What is the best cpu and gpu combination?

PhysX GPU or CPU -- MOD Case.?

• Hi, I got a gaming rig that works fine without any problem. Case: CM 690 II Advanced Videocard: Asus GTX 590 Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO Processor: i7 2600K (stock 3.4 ghz) CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 2 rev.B HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 Desktop Class (1TB) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP (low profile) 2x 4GB Keyboard : Cheap Thrust Keyboard Mouse : Cheap Dell Mouse PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Note : I got intel turboboost and that powersaving turned on. My CPU gets downclocked to 1.6 Ghz when its in idle. It jumps to 4.3 Ghz when i start a game. My PhysX settings is set at AUTO. It always chooses GPU (B). The thing is... My GTX 590 fits barely in the chase.There is an iron bar 2cm ( tops) away from the exhaust grill of the videocard. With AIDA64 i can see that my dual GPU card runs at max 60 degrees. This applies only to the GPU (A) that exhaust 50% of the heat out of the chase. The GPU (B) exhaust the heat straight on the iron bar. This causes the temp rise of my GPU (B) card. I have reached 85 degrees with the 2nd GPU processor. My questions are : If i dedicate the PhysX to CPU will i see the temp go down of my GPU (B) ? Shall i cut the iron bar from my chase? this way the GTX 590 can exhaust the heat properly away from the card and into the chase. Note : the iron bar i refer to is a part of a structure that holds the HDD in place. for those who doesnt understand, i will upload a picture later. =] Thanks in Advance.

  nvidia sucks, cut the cpu case, it wont harm it i did this for my radeon hd 3850 that i get 40 fps in crysis 2 max settings with
